This website provides information about the settlement of California Civil Rights Department v. Activision Blizzard, Inc., et al., the lawsuit brought by the California Civil Rights Department (“CRD”), on behalf of the female employees and contract workers who performed services for Activsion Blizzard, Inc., Activision Publishing, Inc., Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. or one of their subsidiaries (“Activision Blizzard”) in California. In the lawsuit, CRD, a state agency charged with investigating and prosecuting civil rights enforcement actions, alleged claims under California law for unlawful employment practices based on sex against Activision Blizzard. Activision Blizzard denies that it engaged in any of the unlawful employment practices as alleged by CRD at any time. In December 2023, the parties agreed to settle, which means they have reached an agreement to resolve the lawsuit. The settlement agreement is memorialized in a document called the Consent Decree. A copy of the Consent Decree is available here.
